Franklin Pierce University is seeking a graduate assistant (GA) women’s soccer coach for a 10-month period (August to May).  The position begins on August 1, 2025. 

Job Summary:

This position is an opportunity for an individual to further their academic endeavors within the Franklin Pierce University Graduate Programs while also gaining an extensive amount of experience in coaching in an NCAA Division II Athletic Program.  

The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Conduct on and off-campus recruiting efforts to attract qualified student-athletes.
  • Collaborate in fundraising activities to support the program.
  • Assist in planning and executing effective practice sessions.
  • Monitor academic progress through study halls and provide necessary support.
  • Contribute to team travel, game day operations, scheduling, organization, and general office tasks.
  • Adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations.

Qualified applicants will also assist in fostering a highly competitive and positive team culture where high-quality relationships with fellow coaches and players are emphasized.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a Franklin Pierce MBA, Med, MSN and/or MS Accounting Program.
  • Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA playing experience is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players.
  • Must have a U.S. issued Drivers License with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a clean driving record (has obtained a license for 3 years minimum).

This is a 2-year position determined by program of study. Compensation includes a stipend, graduate tuition and supplemental income possibilities with regards to working camps/clinics or coaching with a local club program.
