Students at FPU Only- Pre-Orientation Wilderness Adventure Trip Leader (23/24)
Job Summary:
Leading new and transfer students on a multi-day backcountry kayaking trip. Responsible for making prudent decisions based on weather, and group dynamics. Will navigate up to Class II whitewater, while adding a "challenge by choice" component for less confident kayakers. Responsible for guiding students from the put in location to the take out location.
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous POWA trip participant. Must be Wilderness First Aid certified. Leadership skills necessary.
